Nathan John Feuerstein, born March 30 1991 is a popular American musician and rapper. He is known as his initials, NF, which can be spelled IF. He has released two EPs: I'm Free (2012),[3] and a self-titled EP in 2014 in association with Capitol CMG. Mansion was the first album he released on a major label. The second studio album Therapy Session was released on April 22 in 2016. It peaked at the number 12 in the US Billboard 200. The albums have garnered many awards, including the Gospel Music Association Dove Award Rap/Hip Hop album of the year (Therapy Session). NF became a mainstream hit through Perception in the year 2017. The album peaked in the United States at number one and was certified platinum. "Let You Fall" hit number twelve on the. Billboard Hot 100 and a top ten international hit. The Search (2019) was his second album. He enjoyed similar commercial success. Feuerstein stated that, during his early years, rap was a way to escape. He recorded songs on his Karaoke machine. His raps were recorded on one microphone. Feuerstein released his own debut album Moments on November 29, 2010 under his real name. His debut single, "Alone", was released on August 2, 2011. Brooke Griffith and Tommee Profitt who produced the track and songwriter, appeared in the track. Xist Music discovered Feuerstein's work in 2012 and was intrigued by his music. Feuerstein released his extended work I'm Free on May 2nd 2012 and was produced by Profitt. The tracklist consisted of nine tracks, including "Alone". The EP also featured the exclusive version of "Alone" featuring Sean Simmonds. Xist announced the release of their self-titled play, NF, but Feuerstein quit the label following a dispute and the release of NF was delayed. NF still featured a song featuring Shuree William "Only One", on the label's compilation album Move Vol 1 On November 4 in 2013, he released the single "Beautiful Addiction", which came out on the 4th of November. Profitt also made an appearance on the song. The track featured vocals from Danielle Swift and Brady Schmitz.
