Jillian Noel Hennely was born on the 25th of November 1968. She is a talented Canadian singer and actress who has made a significant contribution to American TV. Her most well-known work is her amazing performance on the American TV shows like Law & Order (where she impressed viewers over three seasons as prosecutor Claire Kincaid) and Crossing Jordan (where she played Jordan Cavanaugh, the main character Jordan Cavanaugh). Hennessy has also showcased her acting prowess in films such as RoboCop 3 Most Wanted and independent movies Chutney Popcorn and The Acting Class, where she also worked on her scriptwriting and co-directing muscles. The acting career of Hennessy began in 1988, when she and her sister acted as twin callgirls in Dead Ringers. In 1990, she briefly made an appearance on Broadway on Broadway as Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story. Her next move was to sci-fi, and portrayed the role of Dr. Marie Lazarus (RoboCop 3) in 1993. The big break for her came later that year when she was a part of the cast of the acclaimed NBC crime drama Law & Order as assistant district attorney Claire Kincaid. Three seasons of her role was a hit with audiences. She left in 1996. Parker has been featured in movies and television shows like RED Fried Green Tomatoes Boys on the Side The West Wing Angels in America where she won an award of a Golden Globe and an Emmy Award for Best Supporting Actress. Parker was also honored with the Tony Award in 2001 for Best Actress, for her part in the role of Proof on Broadway.
