There is an unexplainable excitement when we learn that the book or novel we read when children is being adapted for cinema. Imagine yourself being the main character in the book you were raised reading and adored. Feels surreal? Olivia Rodrigo had a similar experience. Olivia was introduced to the world of acting after being cast in the lead role of the series American Girl -the episodes of which Rodrigo had been watching since she was just 7 years old. Olivia was offered the opportunity to portray her favorite persona, one she'd been identifying with since childhood. Her popularity quickly grew due to her talents and has become an established face for the majority of Disney people who watch television. While this was a wonderful achievement, it came at a price.
